You Found CLOTHMAN!
Thanks for stopping by. Believe it or not, under that cape and tights, I'm just a dude. Really!
When I write, I gaze at the majestic Montana mountains surrounding me and ask the same God who made them to help a simple dude like me pen yet another column. My goal is that each column will practically help you in your daily life on this third rock from the sun as well as bring you a little closer to God.
That's it, nothing fancy. I reckon I'm just your garden variety human being.
Be sure to check out the reader responses at Clothmail. In the words of Tony The Tiger, "they're great!" And feel free to forward your comments to me. We can't post them all, but I do read them all.
I also try to give you glimpses into what's happening in my daily life at Clothblogs Blog is a computer-nerd term for weblogs. I'm a very low-tech person so I use the term blog so I at least sound hip-tech.
Enjoy over 350 of my past adventures in the Clothfiles.
From time to time Clothman and Clothreaders team up to accomplish wonderful humanitarian missions. If you'd like to know how you can help in these adventures, check out The Clothteam. Finally, if you want to learn more about me, see Who Is Clothman. But the best way to get to know more about me (besides sharing conversation over a cup of coffee) is through my columns. Far more than a column, The Adventures of Clothman is all about living the adventure of life.
Okay, enjoy your visit. I keep things pretty simple around here, yet have as much fun as possible - just the way life is supposed to be.
Blazing Trails,

This Week's Adventure 8/2/08
Church Attendance and High Gas Prices
People go to church to fill their spiritual tanks, but now that it costs over $50 to fill their gas tank I wondered how that was affecting their attendance.
“Well Clothman, I still attend all the same church events,” says Becky a single mother of five who drives 25 miles round trip to church three times a week. “However, I combine as many of my personal errands as possible. Now we go to church and shopping or soccer.”
Mary is an 85 year old widow relies on others to get to church...
